WELCOME TO THE ØTHERS APP
A digital platform of personal recalibration.
Despite the digital revolution taking place in the wellness industry, we found most apps out there are curated with the same type of beige content - toxic positive and superficial. So we decided to build our own, with a different take.
PONDER
Our hero section, titled Ponder, is a philosophical narrative series, bringing together really deep thought, delivered in a gripping fashion. Each season, we marry a critical thinker with a musical talent to deliver these post-modern odysseys. Themes range from Spiritual Materialism and Social Mimicry to Meaning Crises and Death Literacy.
Alex Ebert - You may know Alex Ebert from his musical creations of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Ima Robot. He is a multiplatinum songwriter and Golden Globe-winning film composer now taking up philosophy in New Orleans. We have collaborated with Alex on writing our content for our Ponder series. His profound candid and earnest approach is profoundly original. We hope you find it useful.
Max Cooper has carved a unique space as an audio-visual artist with a science PhD and an international reputation as a leading electronic musician. His work carries an emotional resonance and sensory immersion. He is the first artist to partner with ØTHERS and create music for the brands philosophical lead meditations.
Our second section, titled Immerse, where we offer carefully crafted sonic interventions that go beyond providing typical benefits / claims of sound therapy, such as reducing stress and anxiety.
Each season, we release themed playlists that are based on specific emotional states such as Imposter Syndrome and Creative Block. These playlists are designed to help you tap into your emotions and cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, allowing you to better understand and regulate those feelings.
BREATHE
Our final section brings forth a unique practices every season. For our first edition, we are heroing an amazing practitioner - Rodo Escalandte.
Rodo combines the two realms of breathwork and free diving, training intensively to understand and overcome the body's reflexes in deepest water. This unique practice challenges you to explore the limits of your mind and body, as you engage with powerful breath-holding techniques that provide profound insights into the impermanence of life.
